a mixed experience
plug socketscard policy
The room lacked sufficient plug sockets, an INCONVENIENCE as there were none near the beds. I could also hear quite a bit of noise from other guests throughout the night. the hotel operated on a card-only basis, a policy that I found rather restrictive. The staff should consider the needs of all guests.

the location was convenient to concert venues parking was available too that was acceptable
the room light did not work the bathroom lacked shower gel a previous guest's hair clip sat atop the soap dispenser the bed duvet felt thin i found it quite chilly also nails and screws scattered in the car park damaged my tyre that incurred a £155 charge

Handy hotel near the venue
friendly staffhot foodthin cover
i found the hotel staff friendly. they assisted with my room request prior to arrival which was helpful. breakfast had a good selection of hot food and fresh options. dinner was tasty and plentiful, so i did not leave hungry.
the duvet cover in my room felt a little thin. the bed was still comfortable, so it wasn't a huge issue. i did want a slightly thicker cover for extra warmth during the night. this is a small detail but made a difference to my overall comfort.
